LaLeche have a network of trained breastfeeding counsellors who provide support options including local calls, a national Helpline, emails and social media. They also offer meet ups for peer support.
NHS West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group
NHS West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group is a GP led statutory NHS body responsible for commissioning the majority of health services for local people. They are responsible for the health of the entire local population in West Sussex, and they commission (pay for) local health services including mental health care, urgent and emergency care, elective hospital services, and community care.
West Sussex County Council Healthy Child Programme
The Healthy Child Programme teams lead and deliver the Healthy Child Programme, providing services from pregnancy to age 19. The HCP is the universal evidence-based public health programme for children and young people, which provides a range of health interventions and support, beginning in pregnancy and continuing through to the end of formal schooling.
West Sussex County Council Early Help Services
The Early Help team works alongside district and borough councils, schools, police, probation services, health and maternity services, voluntary organisations and other family support services to provide support for children’s needs and welfare, as well as those of the family.
Brighton and Hove Children's Centres
Children's Centres provide services and support for parents and carers with children under five. They are a place to meet professionals and other parents, to get advice and information.
